The Arusha feat: Spartans take on the Chipkizi Cup

Spartans Soccer Academy is set for one of the biggest adventures in its young history: the 17th edition of the Chipkizi Cup in Arusha, Tanzania, from 7 to 13 December 2026.

The five-day tournament brings together youth teams from across East Africa. For the Spartans players, it is a chance to test themselves against new opposition, experience a different football culture and grow together as a group.

The trip is priced at Ksh 42,500 per player and covers transport, accommodation, meals and the tournament fee. A separate Ksh 12,000 contribution applies for a parent travelling with the squad.

Every travelling player will need a valid passport and a yellow fever certificate. The club will share the full travel checklist and departure details with families as the trip takes shape.
